RS-what?

But what does that even mean? RSVP. You'll see this on almost any invitation you receive. Whether it's a wedding, shower, birthday, even a large gathering or dinner. RSVP is actually short for the French phrase "répondez s’il vous plait" which simply means "please reply."  

 

Do I have to?

You don't have to, but here is why you should.. You know when you're planning a party or even something as simple as a dinner, you have to plan. You plan meals, you plan goody bags or thank you gifts. Not only does this take planning, this all takes money. We all know that life happens, but don't be that guy that just shows up without warning! Give your host ample time to plan for you and your families presence and don't forget to RSVP by the RSVP date. And if you can't make it, please let me know as soon as you know that you can't make it!
